Greetings!  Ah labour day!  Time for the classics.

Here are your weekly predictions:

Ottawa at Montreal

Henry Burris can’t possibly go 1-8 can he?  Montreal has a tough defence but with Alex Brink at the helm their offence looked pretty woeful last week.  Pick Ottawa over Montreal

Edmonton at Calgary

The battle for first and the battle for Alberta.  I’m going with the home team for this one.  Particularly if Mike Riley can’t start.  Calgary over Edmonton

Toronto at Hamilton

The inaugural game at Tim Hortons field should give the Tabbie’s a lift.  Ricky Ray seems to be fading into the sunset (you know …… ray….sun….ray of sun).  Hamilton over Toronto

and of course

Winnipeg at Saskatchewan

Bombers last won the Labour Day classic in the mid 1930s I believe.  I think they’ll split the home and home, they just won’t start with a win on Sunday.  Sask over Winnipeg (let’s just hope it’s close).

There ya have it.

Have a great weekend.
