Given that the Bombers are 1-13 over the last 14 Labour Day games and 18-36 over the past 54 years, it would have been a safe bet to suggest that they would be underdogs again this year in spite of their first place record. So now add to that, no Matt Nichols and no Andrew Harris, and well, let’s just say the odds of a Winnipeg victory have plummeted. I was wrong last week in predicting an Edmonton victory and hopefully I’ll be wrong this week as well.
Saskatchewan 20 – Winnipeg 13
Elsewhere
Hamilton over Toronto
Calgary over Edmonton
To make it a home team sweep on Labour Day.
Cheers!
