Grey Cup Matchup

November 19, 2012

So I was wrong about BC and glad for it!  Kevin Glenn will finally get his chance to prove the skeptics wrong.  Got the TO prediction correct though.  I’m thinking Montreal really needs to start firming up a succession plan for Anthony.  He still has a lot to give but it won’t be too much […]

Semi Final Predictions

November 10, 2012

Greetings Some intriging match ups this weekend.  In Calgary, they’ve decided to go with Drew Tate as starter after Kevin Glenn lead them all year!  Gotta be a slap in face to Kevin but as he’s known to do he takes it like a pro.  He may still action and the 1-2 Tate-Glenn punch should be […]

Both picks wrong so far this weekend.  Let’s hope I’m equally wrong on the Bomber game!

As predicted here first, it was a home team sweep this weekend. Corbett report now 23 – 21 on the season (7 – 4 for Bomber games)

It’s not the defensives fault they gave up 44 points.  Offence scored 3.  No TD’s in now over 3 games. And don’t think Buck’s going to be a saviour.  We were mediocre with him in.  So solution???? I’ve started to work out.  Should be ready by Thanksgiving day weekend. Cheers

At least the weather was nice! And I’m pretty sure the stress of having the Bombers in the Grey Cup won’t be an issue this year.  Or the playoffs.

Dumbest call ever

Obviously Tim Burke doesn’t have any faith in his team.  A 40 yard field goal (with the wind) to win the game? We could be blocked! We could miss! We could fumble! Little gremlins might come on the field and steal the ball! The east side vendors might run out of beer! Perhaps a snowbird […]

Further to Paul LaPolice’s firing

August 26, 2012

I do not know Paul LaPolice personally.  My only knowledge of him is via his Twitter feed, his weekly radio show on CJOB and his pre and post game comments.  I have no idea if his coaching abilities were worthy of his release yesterday.  I do know this, or can glean this from listening to […]

Bombers fire LaPolice

The bombers fired Paul LaPolice today. Tim Burke will take over. Surprised at the timing.
