Welcome to Semi Final Sunday

In Hamilton, it’ll be the cross over Lions coming to town.  The Ti-Cats are limping into this game literally with the loss of Brandon Banks being the most significant injury but certainly not the only one.  The Lions ended the season with a loss but overall in the last 1/2 of the season were a formidable offensive team.

Look for the Lions to move onto Ottawa for the Eastern final.

….and then there’s this

The Bombers travel to Regina hoping to avenge their loss of the season series to their arch rivals, the Riders.  On paper, the Bombers should have the edge in this game, in particularily now that it’s know that Zach Collaros won’t be playing for the Riders.  Here are a few things you can look for:

Look for Andrew Harris to have another awesome game (remember his 150+ yards rushing on Labour Day)

Look for Matt Nichols to hold onto the ball (remember the horrendous game he had in the Banjo bowl)

Look for another big outing from the Bombers D (remember the 31-0 shut out last month)

That should add up to Bombers 36 Riders 21

The Corbett report this year was right 61% of the time overall and 72% of the time for Bomber games.
