Fun fact: The last time the Bombers faced the Stamps in a Western final was 1965!  So no wonder this weekends matchup seems to be a new occurrence.  Of course since 1965 the Bombers have missed the playoffs for many years and for a lot of the years that they did make the playoffs they were in the Eastern division.  This years final pits the new kids on the block (the Bombers) vs.  the perennial Grey Cup Favourite (the Stamps). Calgary have dominated the CFL this past decade or so and this year was no different, finishing 13-5.

Still, if the Bombers want to prove that they’ve truly shed their moniker as the team that always lets down their fans, (for 27 years in a row), this would be an excellent time to do it.  Bombers come into this game with momentum and a relatively healthy roster.  Intellectually it would be easy to pick the Stamps to win this one BUT………when does intellect have anything to do with sports????

Bombers 26. Stamps 22.

Oh yeah, and in the East……the Redblacks won all 3 of their games against Hamilton but that streak will end Sunday.

Hamilton 31 Ottawa 27

Enjoy the weekend!
